Return & Refund Policy

Returns. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging with all included components (door unit, solar panel, remote, cable, and hardware). To start a return, email hello@morningcluck.com with your order number and we'll send instructions and the return address. Please don't ship anything back without contacting us first — unauthorized returns can't be processed.

Return shipping. If the product is defective or we made an error, we pay return shipping and send a prepaid label. For all other returns (changed your mind, no longer needed), return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Refunds. Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you and issue a refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take additional time to appear. There are no restocking fees.

Pre-orders. Pre-orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before your order ships — just email us. Once shipped, the standard 30-day return policy applies from the delivery date.

Defective items & warranty. Every Morning Cluck door is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If your door arrives damaged or stops working properly under normal use within 12 months, email hello@morningcluck.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo or video. We'll replace the unit or the affected component free of charge, or refund you if a replacement isn't available. The warranty doesn't cover damage from misuse, modification, or improper installation.

Damaged in transit. If your order arrives visibly damaged, photograph the packaging and product and contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll ship a replacement at no cost.

Exchanges. For a different item or a replacement outside a warranty claim, the fastest route is to return the original for a refund and place a new order.
