Return & Refund Policy

Returns. We accept returns within 60 days of delivery — and yes, that includes doors you've installed and used. Mount it, run it through real mornings and real dusks, and if it's not right for your coop, send it back. We only ask that you return all included components (door unit, solar panel, remote, cable, and hardware). To start a return, email hello@morningcluck.com with your order number. Please don't ship anything back without contacting us first — unauthorized returns can't be processed.

Return shipping. Free for every return, every reason. When you start a return, we'll email you a prepaid return shipping label to download and print — whether the product is defective, we made an error, or you simply changed your mind.

Refunds. Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you and issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 days — usually within 5 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take additional time to appear. There are no restocking fees.

Pre-orders. Pre-orders can be canceled for a full refund any time before your order ships — just email us. Once shipped, the standard 60-day return policy applies from the delivery date.

Defective items & warranty. Every Morning Cluck door is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If your door arrives damaged or stops working properly under normal use within 12 months, email hello@morningcluck.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo or video. We'll replace the unit or the affected component free of charge, or refund you if a replacement isn't available. The warranty doesn't cover damage from misuse, modification, or improper installation.

Damaged in transit. If your order arrives visibly damaged, photograph the packaging and product and contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll ship a replacement at no cost.

Exchanges. Want a different model instead? We accept exchanges — email us and we'll arrange the swap, including the prepaid return label for the original.
